Rashid Khan (31 not out off 11 balls) and Rahul Tewatia's (40 not out off 21 balls) power-hitting helped Gujarat Titans win as they needed 56 in the last four overs and 22 off the final six deliveries.

As the Gujarat Titans cruised to a five-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday (April 27), vice-captain Rashid Khan pounded Sunrisers Hyderabad's Marco Jansen for four sixes in the final over. When Rashid needed 22 from the final over, he hit sixes off the first, third, fifth and sixth balls. His unbeaten 31 off 11 balls lifted his team to victory.

After giving 63 runs off four overs against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their last match, Jansen ended up as SRH's hero. Rashid Tewatia remained unbeaten on 40 off 21 balls while Rahul Tewatia provided wonderful support.

"We feel confident, but at the same time, we focus on getting out there and having the self-belief to keep our shape strong and hit it. I was delighted to do it against them, but I just wanted to play my game and have faith in my batting, and that's what I've been working on for the last two years," Rashid Khan said during the post-match presentation.

Rashid responded, "I just told Tewatia that we have given 25 in the last over with Ferguson, our most reliable bowler." We just have to have faith in ourselves." When GT needed 22 from the final over, Rashid replied, "I just told Tewatia that we have given 25 in the last over with Ferguson, our most reliable bowler." Just don't panic if we miss one ball. Just keep moving forward and get as close to finishing it as possible. That might help us.

However, as long as we hold on to that belief, anything is possible. It's just a matter of staying strong, staying in shape, and hitting it hard. Thus, we had a plan, and fortunately, we had those four sixes," he added.
